Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 11•11•25
Introduction
The Book of Inara is designed for children and families. We believe great children’s apps should respect your privacy and never exploit personal data. This Privacy Policy explains our zero data collection approach, what limited purchase information is used to manage subscriptions, and your rights as a parent or guardian.
Zero Data Collection
We don’t collect personal information about your child. No ads. No tracking. Everything stays on your device.
Subscriptions & Purchases (RevenueCat)
- What we collect. Only purchase receipts and transaction info from Apple/Google via RevenueCat to confirm your subscription.
- How we use it. To check if you have an active subscription, unlock content you paid for, and let you restore purchases on a new device.
- What we don’t collect. We never receive card numbers or billing details — those stay with Apple or Google.
What We Don’t Do
- No Tracking of Children. We don’t monitor your child’s behavior, reading patterns, or app usage.
- No Cookies or Fingerprinting. We do not use cookies or local storage for tracking, and we do not fingerprint devices.
- No Personal Data. We do not collect or store personal information about you or your child.
- No Location Data. We don’t access, request, or store any location information from your device.
- No Data Sharing. We do not share any data with third parties or advertisers.
Website Analytics (cookieless, aggregate)
On our public website (not in the app), we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure basic traffic and performance. This analytics is cookieless, does not use local storage or device fingerprinting, and provides only aggregate, non‑identifiable metrics. We do not profile visitors or collect personal data.
Where your data lives
- On your device. Stories, preferences, and progress are stored locally on your device. We don’t run servers to collect this.
- Secure purchases. RevenueCat and the app stores use industry-standard security to process purchases.
Children’s Privacy
The Book of Inara is built for young children. We follow the principles of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar international laws.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
No ads. No cookies. Cookieless, aggregate analytics. Just stories.
